Updating

I graduated last Saturday!! Ya Me- It's a big accomplishment for me. School didn't come easy for me. There were lots of times when I wanted to quit! I am glad I didn't- It helped to have so much family and friends supporting me. I couldn't have done it with out them. Thank You family and friends!
I only went to the walking part of graduation just to say I did It and to get some pictures! That night my family and Grandmas and Grandpas went to Leo's to eat`and have cake! It was a lot of fun-

7 & 8

Easter was great we had a amazing meal and Kolbin liked playing with his basketball easter basket!We were able to feel our first earthquake! We had just gotten done eating me and Ang were doing the dishes. Jord and Neal were on the coach. Jordan asked, " I think that there is an earthquake?" ... We all stopped and sure enough the whole house and pictures on the wall were swaying. It was a big earthquake-- a Magnitude 7.2 in the Baja of California, Mexico, but it was felt up to Arizona and Nevada! It was a different feeling one that we’ve never really felt before. It was more swaying than shaky as it was farther away from us. It made us dizzy and lasted quite a while. It was the weirdest feeling ever!

On our last day we went to Sunset beach and watched kite boarders. It was really windy and we didn't stay long but it was great! Then that night we went to Neal's school and he gave me a free " partial " eye exam. Jordan had his first eye exam as well. It got Jordan excited to get going with his schooling. Neal will be a great Eye doctor. It was sad to leave the warm weather and come home to snow! Kolbin also got two teeth while we were there and Jordan got addicted to watching prison break. We had so much fun and are glad we were able to go.

Day 6

We went to the famous In and out Burger. I have never gone to one before. It was okay nothing special but fun. That night we went to the beach and roasted star-bursts my favorite thing ever. It was really windy and took a bit to get the fire started. Good thing we got some good boy scouts that could start it. Watched the sun set it was so gorgeous. When it started to get dark out of no where a guy came up to our fire carrying a pan that had some shrimp in it. He asked if he could cook it on our fire we agreed and started talking to him. His name was Scott and he told us he was homeless. Then he said that he had just gotten out of jail a couple weeks ago! Angie looked at me and wanted to go. But Neal and Jordan kept talking to him. He ended up being a really nice guy, he finished cooking his shrimp and offered some to all of us. Neal and Jordan tried some and said it tasted really good. But after they said that their stomachs were hurting a little. I think it was just in their heads!! We kept talking to him for about 30 minutes then he told us where he had been sleeping the last couple days. He pointed over to a porta-potty and said "in that mexican space shuttle" It was pretty funny. He was a great guy, he roasted some star-bursts with us and then we decided to go. It was a great night.

Day 4 & 5

We hung out at the pool today and Kolbin loved the water! While we enjoyed the sun me and Ang read our books! That night we went to Cheesecake Factory they have the best cheese cake ever! We had to get ours to go because we were so full.






Day 5 The boys went golfing and we went shopping looking for some sandals. That night we went to Yogurt Land. I was in heaven my favorite kind was the exotic coconut. Definitely try it if you ever go! Kolbin got spoiled and got to try some. He wanted more once he got a taste. We also went to the pet store and got to see all of the cute puppies. Kolbin liked to try and touch all of them through the glass.

Day 2 & 3

Huntington Beach
We went with Jordan's sisters boyfriend Larin to this beach. He is from Cali and taught Jordan to surf. It looked like it was going to be a rainy day but wasn't supposed to get better this week so we went. We had to take Jasper Ang's dog because they had a bug guy come spray their house. No one was allowed in the house for three hours! When we got there no dogs were allowed the life guard dude almost gave us a 120 dollar ticket. Me and Ang ran away from him. I didn't get a lot of pictures at this beach :( But I did get Jordan up on the board. We walked around and took samples of the fruit that was at the farmers market! It was a lot of fun and ended up being really sunny and warm!!



Day 3
Went to Balboa Island and to get over to the other side you have to ride a ferry across. We also ate at Ruby's which is out on this pier looking over the ocean. Best burger and fries ever. Then we went to get the famous Balboa ice cream bar. You get to choose whatever toppings you want on it and they dip it in chocolate then cover it with yumminess. I know it's not a word but it's the only thing that describes this bar. It was the coldest day so far very windy but funny to see people in coats when me and Jord are in our shorts and jackets. People are wussy here : ) Even Ang was complaining little miss Idaho girl! : )

CALI

DAY 1

ANG CAME AND PICKED US UP FROM THE AIRPORT AND WE WENT STRAIGHT TO LAGUNA BEACH. CHANGED OUR CLOTHES IN THE BATHROOM AND SOAKED UP THE 81 DEGREE WEATHER! KOLBIN DIDN'T REALLY LIKE THE WATER THAT MUCH BUT LOVED TO EAT THE SAND. WE ARE STILL CHANGING SANDY DIAPERS.
